As we find ourselves adjusting to the spring season, we can move like birds and butterflies – no need to rush, be perfect, or have it all together. A swift redirection to a refreshing season ahead may be the perfect reset that we need as we seek rest and balance. If you look around, earthy tones begin to seep through, and the days begin to feel a little warmer. As the birds and butterflies begin to appear more visibly and settle into the vibrancy of spring, slowly and effortlessly, let’s rest assured that spring has invited us to renew and refresh.
Moment for Pause: What does spring mean to you? What opportunities have seasonal transitions brought to you?

With the transition to a new season may come new expectations and new goals. These can carry their own weight as we try to make rapid adjustments or “fix” past mistakes. A seasonal transition, however, does not call for us to change and does not need fixing. Instead, it can be an opportunity to find ourselves while we accept the flaws of life.
It is comprehensible to attribute a new season with fresh changes. We desire for new opportunities to bloom and a minimal drizzle of misfortunes. Truthfully, we cannot be absolutely certain of how adjusting to a new season may unfold. A more gentle interpretation of the approach of a new season can be to acknowledge both the sunshine and the rain. That is, we can soak in the beauty of spring and while also taking note of the rainy days – the days that are a little harder to get by.
Soaking in the beauty of the spring season will gift the opportunity for rejuvenation and energy for what is to come. Taking note of the rainy days will allow for moments of growth and reflection. Every now and then, it is valuable to check in with ourselves and let ourselves pour joy into the season – to accept without the need to necessarily change something.

While some days may pour, let us remember that vibrant and sunny days are ahead. Pause and reflect on what a soft spring means to you. What does it mean to you to truly bask in the warmth of the season? We can get caught up in the expectations and to-dos. Our routines become embedded in the busyness of life, and we forget to stop and smell the roses.
A soft spring holds endless possibilities. How do you feel about taking some time to enjoy the pastels and the greenery? Enjoying these days whether with loved ones or on our own can be a great way to engage with the scenery of spring. After all, we have worked hard enough and our mind, body, and soul deserve to bask in the warmth.
Moment for Pause: As the sunny days arrive, what are you most looking forward to?

We can make an effort to not allow the troubles of the past to overshadow the present season. A soft spring will take its course as we let go of the expectations and make the adjustments that feel aligned with us. With no need to be perfect and no desire to have it all figured out, let us enjoy the peaceful and refreshing season.
Don’t forget to shower yourself with love and gift yourself the grace of the season. Let the sun fill your face, notice your skin glowing in the sunlight, and run through the greenery. Notice the shades of orange, yellow, red, green, and blue. These colors won’t fade away. They just are as they are. As an act of love for ourselves, let’s accept the sweet invitation of spring and enjoy the warmer days ahead.
